The MLM Internet University was born in 1995 (as the Power Online Workshop) after we helped one of our students sign up 30,000 distributors in one company. In 1998 it evolved into an online training system (Killer Internet Marketing Tactics) that helped one company sign up over 10 million distributors. The material is ever changing as the Internet changes!

WHAT DOES THE MLM INTERNET UNIVERSITY DO FOR YOU?
1. For you to do a quick study so that you can train and guide your Web marketers In effective Internet marketing. You can quickly walk your folks through the different the different University Schools and get your distributors moving quickly!

2. The second purpose of this file is so that you have a learning system to feed to your new distributors. Not many people on the Internet have an MLM Marketing source like the University/KIMT. This helps you provide leadership to your new people so that they respect you.

3. If you don’t have a system for their distributors to use - your distributors are out wandering around lost on the Internet! There are tips and places to go to help your downline build their downline.

2 MOST CRITICAL THINGS TO LEARN FOR MLM
1. The Internet is a good place to meet people and form relationships. It is a poor place just to sign up people and try to make money. Less than 2% of the people will stay with you, even with a lot of emails!

2. Your main goal in doing Internet work is to get people to a phone so you can become acquainted. If you don’t you will find yourself on a treadmill of just signing up people and losing them. Don’t like to meet strangers on the phone? Search upline or downline until you find someone to partner with! You provide the new contact they do the talking (see 3 way calls etc)

THE MLM UNIVERSITY IS FOR YOU
The University and Killer Internet Marketing Tactics (KIMT) are set up for you to learn as you go. Each section is divided into areas to read and often places so you can go on the Internet and try what you just read about. It is like "on the job training" except the University/KIMT is designed to be fun and make learning automatic!

The great news is that Internet prospecting and recruiting are relatively inexpensive and functional. With a good system you can recruit and sell for pennies. You can start your program off with simple steps. If you are not an Internet marketer now, learning will only take you about 40-60 hours. Build a system of recruiting that not only can your online distributors learn easily but they can use it to attract others.

See Sig files demo and instructions! Begin by teaching your people to write their email signature (internet slang = sig file) which will be your signoff on every email or post. It should contain a contact information (web site link and affiliate code), company name and a short benefit line. You will need to help people when they start. Now you can tell them how to do this (or to get a high school student to do it! :>). Note: This is why I consider a Distributor/affiliate message board your company web site so important. Your posting community can come in and help by giving the details on a specific browser or email program. You do not have to carry the weight all yourself. By helping others (even not in their downline) you build a sense of community and friendship. A powerful tool!

See ad copy demos! This will help you create a series of informative, standard email messages that your distributors can use. 7 different messages that people can select from will give them a faster start. Tell your folks they can change it and personalize it to fit their needs. Get them to help! As your group grows encourage distributor /affiliates to send it their successful ones (offer a prize, reward or recognition). Why do you need to do this? The email messages should tell new prospects why they should buy or join your company. What's in it for the receiver of the message. You have to have a killer header line (top of the Email message) followed by the benefits of your company and opportunity. You should have two different types one for outbound and another type to reply to email questions from prospects. See Samples in the School of Email

Advertising in e-zines (on-line magazines) and newsletters is effective, when you get them targeted. How do you target them? You spend money testing them to see what ad works best in what zine or newsletters. Collect interesting information for the industry or your products that might be interesting to e-zine owners/editors and let your distributors submit that as an article to the e-zine(s). Usually because they submitted the article they get to run an ad after the article. Not only does this help your growth but it bonds your distributors to you because you are providing them with information to make them successful!
